The programme for the #3 RE-CARE conference, “Resilient Societies in Times of Uncertainty – From Conceptual Foundations to Societal Implementation”, is now available. The conference takes place from 17 to 19 March 2027 at Kyoto University, Department of Ethics.
Over three days, researchers from Japan, Germany and Canada present their work on a variety of topics, including:

- Criminal Punishment as Crisis Governance: Learning from Penal Enforcement During COVID-19
- Losing the Narrative? How Influencers Shape Vaccine Discourse and How Public Health Institutions Can Respond
- Humanity, Solidarity, Impartiality: Ethical Principles for Designing Predictive Crisis Technologies
- Responding to Cyberattacks on Healthcare Information Systems and Government Involvement
The conference is organised by Satoshi Kodama, Dennis Krämer, Thorsten Quandt, Seisuke Hayakawa and Michael Campbell.
